Project Manager – Resto VanHarte (Community Dining & Social Impact Programs)

As a Project Manager at Resto VanHarte, I led the operations and development of multiple community dining locations across the Netherlands, including Amsterdam Noord, Amsterdam Zuidoost, and Amsterdam West, as well as Amersfoort, Almere, and the KinderResto in Zaandam. What began as a part-time role quickly evolved into a full-time leadership position due to the growth and success of the programs I coordinated.

Key Contributions:

Multi-Site Leadership: Successfully managed weekly programs at multiple locations, each with its own cultural makeup, logistical needs, and community dynamics.

Volunteer Coordination: Recruited, trained, and supervised dozens of volunteers weekly, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and professional environment at every Resto event.

Chef Collaboration: Worked closely with different chefs each week to plan and execute healthy, affordable meals that brought people together across cultures and backgrounds.

Community Events & Outreach: Organized impactful local events that fostered connection, inclusion, and dialogue among neighbors — from themed dinners and cultural celebrations to youth-focused programs like the KinderResto.

This role allowed me to develop strong community leadership skills, build lasting partnerships, and deliver meaningful impact through food, connection, and collaboration.
