Café Traffic Zwolle

Café Traffic was a well-known bar located at Kamperstraat 5 in Zwolle, the Netherlands. Renowned for its lively atmosphere, live music, and vibrant crowd, it quickly became a popular hotspot—especially on weekends when the place was packed. The bar regularly hosted events and attracted a large student following, making it a central hub for young people in the city.

Founded by George Kanis at just 24 years old, he became the youngest bar owner in the Netherlands at the time. From March 1994 to January 2000, George managed and built Café Traffic into more than just a bar—it became part of the local culture. The bar proudly sponsored a youth football team and partnered with the student fraternity Pecunio Non Olet, supporting their activities and events throughout the years.
