The Bright Star Society (BSS) is a non-profit organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal, dedicated to promoting inclusivity and empowering individuals with disabilities. Founded by Sushil Adhikari, a youth and disability rights activist , BSS aims to bridge the gap between people living with and without disabilities by fostering inclusive development.

BSS focuses on:

Empowerment: Providing entrepreneurship development, capacity-building, and independent living skills to persons with disabilities.

Inclusive Volunteerism: Encouraging community involvement to create accessible and inclusive societies.

Support Initiatives: Offering need-based assistance to help individuals become active members of society.

The organization has been involved in various programs, including COVID-19 relief efforts, where they supported over two thousand families and nine thousand individuals across Nepal .

Collaborations
BSS collaborates with organizations like Blind Rocks!, conducting joint programs and events to empower marginalized and underprivileged individuals with disabilities, children, and women.
